The Brecon Fans Race Weekend - July dates TBC 2016
Two classic fell races in the Brecon Beacons, with free beer and food.
Day 1: Pen y Fan Race
A "short" race up the highest mountain in southern Britain, packing nearly 2000 feet of ascent into 3.5 miles. First run in 1986, the race has been tackled by all the top UK fell runners (see the results archive), and has a record time that many consider unbreakable. More details here.
In 2016 the prize for breaking the 30.00 minute record is £1000.
