Perfect conditions greeted the runners who used their navigational skills to find the start buried deep in the Brecon Beacons.
Andrew Jones worked hard from the start pushed on by the constant presence of Robert Gordon. Adrian Woods put his knowledge of the course to good effect which resulted in a very close finish.
Ruth Pickvance was a clear winner in the ladies' race. Best known as a road runner, Ruth mixed with leading men on the climb only to lose a little time on the very steep descent.
