We have assembled a table of records across all categories. The "margin" figures show the gap to the next fastest result by a different runner in the same category.
Pete Ryder's overall record from 2010 is notable for his exceptionally fast "descent". This is not a steep descent like Pen y Fan; it actually includes some overall climb round the horseshoe, followed by about 4 miles of gradual fast descending.
Remarkably, as well as the overall records in the FV60 and FV70 categories, Sally Law holds the five fastest times in the FV60 category, with a 15.2% margin over the next fastest time.

Ascent and descent records from before 2017 apply to the original start/finish location, which made for quicker ascent and slower decent. In 2017 we did not capture accurate summit splits so no new records have been published.
